What is Nanum On-Tact?

It is a 10-episode web entertainment talk show made for the Ministry of Health and Welfare (National Institute of Organ, Tissue and Blood Management) during the COVID-19 pandemic to improve public perceptions of organ donation. It was filmed in an indoor studio in Seoul in 2021; greatminds handled content planning, studio filming and post-production.

Why a web entertainment format?

COVID-19 restricted the usual offline campaigns, so a new online approach was needed. A web entertainment show was chosen as a format younger audiences would find familiar, to convey the value of organ donation naturally.

Who appears in the show?

The ten guests are swimmer Jung Yoo-in, running evangelist Ahn Jeong-eun, rapper Boy B, Joo Kyung-jin, model Florian, singer Cherry B, volleyball player Jeong Ji-seok, photographer Kim Si-hyeon, veterinarian Seol Chae-hyun and singer Ryu Ji-gwang. The hosts were comedian Kim Jae-woo and weather caster Oh Su-jin.

How is the series structured?

Twelve videos: an introduction, ten guest episodes (9 to 11 minutes each) and a highlight reel. Each episode moves naturally from catching up with the guest to the topic of organ donation, with real-time live broadcasts and interactive elements such as balance games.

What were the production challenges?

Treating a heavy, sensitive subject in a light entertainment format without losing sincerity. Each of the ten guests needed an individual script, live broadcasts had to run at precise times, and all ten guests had to be filmed in just two days.

Numerous preliminary meetings and research produced scripts tailored to each guest's personality and field. A proven host pairing kept the show steady, and rehearsals across production teams plus strict scheduling ensured the live broadcasts ran on time. The team notes that real-time interaction turned one-way promotion into genuine empathy with viewers.
