Context

While FLEXFIT has been the industry standard for 30 years since its 1994 launch, existing production videos did not clearly reveal the product's differentiated technical advantages. The emphasis on productivity alone caused customers and buyers to understand the product's core message differently. FLEXFIT NU was reborn with completely new technical approaches including ActiveGuard™, Tri-Layer, and Minimal Stitching while inheriting the innovative DNA of the original FLEXFIT, requiring a video that would clearly and sensually convey this technological superiority.

Challenge

The challenge was to visually communicate the complex technical differentiators of a relatively simple product like a cap. The core challenge was making invisible internal technologies such as Tri-Layer (3-layer structure instead of the existing 6-layer), ActiveGuard™ (sweat absorption and drying system), and Minimal Stitching (minimized seams) intuitively understandable. It was also important to convincingly convey the branding message of surpassing the existing FLEXFIT, which had been the industry standard for 30 years, along with technological superiority.

Solution

3D technology was used to visualize the cap’s internal structure and functions by deconstructing them layer by layer. Tri-Layer technology was clearly illustrated through exploded diagrams that revealed the multi-layered composition. ActiveGuard™ employed particle animation to depict sweat flow, intuitively conveying the absorption and drying process. Minimal Stitching was highlighted through direct comparison shots with existing products, emphasizing the contrast in finish and construction. The narrative was structured to present each innovation individually while collectively showcasing the integrated evolution of FLEXFIT NU.
