Context

Tridge represents a global platform established to enhance transparency in worldwide agricultural, livestock, and fishery trade, providing B2B services through collection and analysis of agricultural price data and trade information across 190 countries. Used by over 400,000 client companies, this platform resolves information asymmetries in agricultural pricing while mediating direct trade between buyers and sellers. Particularly during COVID-19's global supply chain instabilities, it gained attention as a solution for alternative sourcing and risk management. The client desired communicating their complex data platform's value through abstract, sensory approaches rather than conventional explanatory videos.

Challenge

We needed to express the professional, complex B2B service of agricultural trade through abstract concepts while clearly conveying core service values. Under explicit client constraints—"avoid live-action filming," "avoid high-end graphics," and "avoid explanatory graphics"—creative solutions were essential. The dilemma involved visually implementing global agricultural market complexity and Tridge platform innovation while using language intuitively understandable to target audiences: agricultural practitioners and trading companies.

Solution

We established a minimal visual system centered on 2D icons and typography. Through intensive artwork confirmation processes with clients during pre-production, we developed visual language that remained abstract while revealing service essence. Agricultural trade complexity was simplified through connection and flow concepts, while data transparency utilized light and network metaphors. We emphasized global agricultural ecosystem connectivity while contrastingly highlighting the simplicity and efficiency of Tridge's solutions.
